Here we will be sharing the latest updates on upcoming training sessions and training resources.

GNWT mandatory trainings - ELM (gov.nt.ca)

These training courses are primarily offered online, providing the flexibility to learn anywhere.

For those who prefer a more traditional learning environment, in-person options are available at select locations.

GNWT - Access to Information and Protection of Privacy	Provides a better understanding of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act Online Training - Approx. 1.5 hours
GNWT - Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace	Provides knowledge and awareness of diversity and inclusion in the workplace Self-paced Online Training - Approx. 1.5 hours
GNWT - Equitable Workplace: Cultivating Attitudes of Anti-Racism and Allyship	Creates space for learners to explore their own personal experiences with racism and allyship Online Training - Approx. 6 hours
2SLGBTQQIA 101 Inclusive Workplace Awareness Training	Provide the necessary knowledge and tools to recognize key terms associated with the 2SLGBTQQIA community. Helps foster, identify and apply respectful behaviours. Online Training - Approx. 1 hour
GNWT - Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training - Living Well Together	Provides understanding of colonization, roles in reconciliation, and builds cultural competency. Self-paced Online Training - Approx. 16 hours
GNWT - The Working Mind	Get practical knowledge to increase your overall comfort level with mental illness and contribute to a psychologically healthy and safe environment. Online Training - Approx. 6 hours For Managers, this course has an associated cost of $50 NTPC SEssion this Septemeber: For employees: Date 2: September 24^th, 2024 - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM For Managers: Date 1: September 25^th, 2024 - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM If you wish to enroll, sent an email to [email protected] and CC your manager.
GNWT Coaching Fundamentals - For managers	Self-paced Online Training - Approx. 3 hours
GNWT Coaching for success - For managers	Approx. 2 full days - Online & In-person options (this course has an associated cost of $200)

Mandatory Training in K2 and with External Providers

Name of Training Course	Description
Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace Training - K2	Self-paced, online. Duration, approximately 25 minutes As of November 2023, all employees have been enrolled to this course. If you haven't, please reach out to us.
Alcohol and Drugs in the workplace training - Corridor Learning	Online self-pace training with an approximate duration of 1h. As of January 2024, all employees have been enrolled to this course. If you haven't, please reach out to us. The due date for this training is June 30th or 6 months after your first day at work.
Discrimination, Harassment and Violence Training - DANATEC	External Mandatory Training provided by Danatec, training virtual over Teams. Manager session: 4 hours Worker session: 3 hours
