As a Crown Corporation, NTPC and its employees have a responsibility to understand both individual and group requirements to safeguard the privacy and security of individual’s identifying information, as well as sensitive NTPC corporate information. NTPC’s HR Policy and Privacy Specialist, Jannet Ann Leggett is the contact person for the NTPC for access to information requests, privacy breaches and/or questions regarding real or potential information handling practices that may create a risk of unauthorized access. Jannet Ann is also available to provide individual and team training on “privacy” as well as assist in the investigation and reporting of real or potential privacy breaches so the NTPC is in compliance with Northwest Territories privacy legislation, Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
