As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting well-being at NTPC, we are excited to share some important news!

As we move towards a more inclusive and comprehensive approach to wellness, we are rebranding the "Mental Health Committee" to the "Well-Being Committee." This change is more than just a new name; it’s a reflection of our efforts to address all aspects of well-being - physical as well as psychological.

The "Well-Being Committee," part of the "You Matter at NTPC" initiative (more on that coming soon!), is part of our journey to ensure that everyone feels supported, valued, and empowered in all aspects of their health and well-being.

Stay tuned for more updates!

After nearly 30 days of Polar Night and no official sunrise, the Town of Inuvik gathers each year to celebrate the return of the sun in its Annual Inuvik Sunrise Festival. Events include local food, dance, music, artisan markets, cultural workshops, snow & ice sculptures, indoor & outdoor family activities, and a large Fireworks display on the Saturday night.

NTPC has been a long time sponsor of this event and this remained true in 2024. This year, we were the official sponsor for the Ice Park, which included an ice slide and igloo. From all reports, the Sunrise Festival was a tremendous success once again!

Building stronger communities through local events is one of the key goals of our Community Investment Policy.
