In the month of June the Town of Hay River had come together in an amazing way. Communities across the Nation were in-it-to-win it. And with the incredible push and support of our very own Tiffany Demarcke, and some IT support from D'arcy "The Spreadsheet Guru" Delorey, NTPC was able to contribute up to about 19 employees to enter the cause!

Due to this astonishing effort contributed, the Town of Hay River has been awarded $100,000 to further the recreational needs of the community. Click HERE to see the Cabin Radio article. Click HERE to see what ParticipACTION is all about!

NTPC has always been a strong community leader and supplier of volunteers - this is no exception. Thank you all who participated and thank you to everyone who in the past have represented our Corporation with passion and compassion.

Hey all you Powerline creepers. 

Last Friday I performed my official attempt in capturing the Guinness World Record's title of "Largest Energy Drink Can Collection"!

I have been collecting for over half my life now and perhaps they will live on into history. For those who came out and saw my 1000+ items displayed on the weekend, thank you.

For those who did not get the chance, perhaps they will catch your eye the next time you are flipping through the Record book.

After five long years, the Hay Days Festival has returned. NTPC was pleased to be a sponsor of the week long event that featured arts, crafts, music and other activities for people of all ages.

One of the popular events is the Corporate Art Attack. Teams of up to four people from a company or organization are given "mystery boxes" of supplies and then have an hour to turn it into "art". With limited skill but lots of enthusiasm, our team created a masterpiece that reflected the dark and stormy days Hay River has faced over the past few years -- however, in the top left, you can see that the sun has begun to emerge from behind the clouds. Powerful stuff.
