The holiday season in Hay River kicked off in earnest this past weekend with NTPC having a strong and enthusiastic presence at two community events.
Our float in the Santa Claus Parade earned ooohs and awwwws from everyone who saw it. Thanks to everyone who helped decorate the float as well as participate in the parade itself.
NTPC's commitment to safety was clearly illustrated with our entry in the Festival of Trees. Various piece of personal protective equipment were hung on the tree or placed at the base, including hard hats, hearing protection, safety vests and work boots.
Noel Voykin, President and Chief Executive Officer, provided an update to employees on several corporate issues. Topics covered include the 2019 Employee Engagement Survey, the Strategic Plan and announcement of a restructuring of the Senior Leadership Team.
