On June 8th, 2018 at approximately 12:20pm the NTPC entered into a race of the ages with three super teams! NTPC Shockers (Lead by Scott), NTPC Little Shockers (Lead by Shawn) and NTPC Shockingly Fun (Lead by Brad) took the 4x100m Corporate Relay by storm. Each running step shook the ground. Each heaving breath whirled like a hurricane through the air. Each heartful cheer was like thunder in the sky. Each step was like lightning as they sped around the track. All that was left behind was a cloud of dust and competitive carnage... Ok, perhaps it was not exactly like that, but it was still a moment to be proud about!

Please take a moment to look through these awesome pictures that was snapped of your teams and of our very own Electro at this year's NWT Track and Field.

Enjoy!

Did you know that NTPC offers an Employee Volunteer Day Program which will allow employees to dedicate one work‐day in total hours each fiscal year (April 1 to March 31) to a paid volunteer day with a registered charity or non‐profit organization within your community. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a volunteer in your community or to increase the hours you already put in to volunteering in your community. Certain rules apply; click here for more information.

Customers in the communities of Whati, Fort Resolution and Fort Simpson are the latest to receive Intelligent Meter Hubs (IMH). Installation of IMH in all NTPC communities is currently scheduled to be completed by summer 2019.

For more information on the IMH Implementation Project, check here.
