And as the holidays seep into the past, we all look back on some of the fun that was had. This year the Social Club tasked everyone with a couple challenges in order to give the holidays a little competitive pep!

48 guesses were submitted for the Candy Count jar! 2364 candies were in the jar and Pennie was only off by 46 -  which makes sense because I have checked security camera footage and found she spent two whole nights in the atrium performing measurements and equations to get to the answer.

Another ask was to have everyone submit photos about what they got up to during the holidays. We wanted to give the opportunity for people to share a little bit about their Christmas this year for a chance to win some great prizes! The categories and winners are attached... Take a look!

A "volcano" of ice has formed at the Snare Falls hydro plant. Apparently those who have been onsite have never seen this much ice form in the spillway before.

The first ever Campground Christmas in Hay River is scheduled to kick off on Friday, December 4 and run through Sunday, December 6. NTPC employees Jennifer Coleman, Marie Kopp-van Egteren and Shelly Vokyin have put together a display that will do us all proud. Bring your family out to the Hay River campground this weekend and see the many sites that have been decorated. You must remain in your car to comply with COVID protocols.
