Maintenance Underway on Fort Smith Generator

NTPC staff removed the Fort Smith G3 generator from the engine assembly this week. The photos show the generator leaving the Fort Smith plant on its way to Vancouver for a re-wind.

This project is part of asset renewal for reliability and is being completed in advance of the Taltson Rehabilitation, as we expect to run the unit regularly while Taltson Hydro is offline for installation of its new turbine and generator.
