NTPC Hosts Students at Jackfish

In conjunction with Skills Canada NWT, staff at Jackfish welcomed a number of Grade 8 students earlier this week to talk about safety in the workplace and to provide a tour of the facility. Plant tours were led by Eileen Hendry, safety presentations were delivered by Jean-Guy Poitras and Tony Watier while Kevin Dunn showed the control room in operation. Who knows -- perhaps future colleagues started on the path to a career in electricity generation as a result of their visit!
