Upgrades to Yellowknife Control Room

A project to upgrade the Yellowknife control room has been completed. Electronics and furniture upgrades had been identified as a requirement and this led to a broader project that included other O & M repairs to the room. Repairs included paint, flooring, and some hardware and electrical upgrades. To complete the upgrades, the Central Control Room was temporarily relocated to a vacant workspace at Jackfish.

The began with moving the Control Room to the temporary location on September 24. System control operators were able to return to the upgraded location on November 8.
