The AME team has successfully moved forward on a number of projects over the past few months. Great cooperation between project managers and operational employees has allowed us to upgrade our facilities and address both new and long-standing issues.
Recent successes included:

Completion of the Snare Forks G1 Rotor lift, part of the disassembly required prior to start of the overhaul

Installation of the replacement generator in Paulatuk

Completion of the modular gensets factory acceptance test

Installation of a meeting facility at Snare Forks

Replacement of the Snare Falls Headgate control cable

Completion of K-Plant ventilation project to provide better cooling and air quality, particularly in the summer months

Installation of Multilin Protective Relays at Fort Good Hope, which will allow remote trouble-shooting
NTPC has an ambitious capital plan over the next several years but the AME Division is up to the task.
