Congratulations to NTPC’s Ian Flood for being honoured as Firefighter of the Year 2016 for the Hay River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
The Department’s 28 dedicated firefighters provide fire, rescue and ambulance service to the community of Hay River and surrounding areas, extending as far south as the NWT-Alberta border, as far east as Fort Resolution and as far west as Fort Providence.
The Firefighter of the Year was presented to Ian Flood on Saturday, December 10, by Fire Chief Ross Potter at the annual Firefighter’s Ball.
