Email Safety and Security

Cyber security is important in our lives, both personally and professionally. With October being Cyber Security Awareness Month, it is critical that all employees continue to be vigilant when determining whether an email is legitimate or part of a scam.

We have seen a significant increase in suspicious messages sneaking into our network. In light of this, the IT team wants to help you identify what to look for in a suspicious message. The attached infographic provides some excellent tips to keep our network secure. Always remember to err on the side of caution -- if you are unsure whether an email should be opened, contact the Help Desk for further guidance.
