Plan of action to prevent incidents on major projects.  Details health & safety systems/requirements for project.  Reviewed with all workers and kept onsite.  Required when:

  • Project work costs are greater than $250,000 (excluding material costs);
  • More than one contractor will be on site;
  • Project duration is expected to be longer than 15 days;
  • Prolonged high risk activities; and/or
  • As otherwise directed by the Health & Safety Department.

Tool formerly used by the Health & Safety Department to review and assess Project Safety Plans.  This form was archived in 2017 and is no longer used.  Comments and recommendations for Projects Safety Plans are now made directly on the Project Safety Plan forms.

Used to conduct an inspection of the contractor at the worksite prior to project work beginning.  Helps to ensure that the contractor is carrying out their safety commitments as promised.

Completed by the contractor.  Assists in tracking and reviewing contractor performance and in identifying areas requiring corrective action.
