A systematic breakdown of a job into tasks/steps in order to identify hazards, assess risks, and select appropriate controls.

A JSA is done when there is no Safe Job Procedure for the work activity (or if work processes have changed).  

A JSA for a repetitive/routine task is put into Safe Job Procedure format.

A short, documented pre-job meeting conducted at the job site by the workers to discuss the work to be done, the hazards present, and the safety measures that will be put in place to control risk.

Safety rules that, if broken, could result in serious injury or death.

Adherence helps keep us safe from life-threatening risks.

Must be understood and adhered to at all times by all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Charter Air Operator Standard 

The Manager authorizes the issue of PPE and records it on this form.  PPE is issued:

• Upon initial hire.
• When additional equipment is required for tasks.
• When PPE is damaged/worn.

In order to ensure purchases of health, safety, and environment meet legislative and corporate safety requirements, only those items on this list can be purchased, and must be requisitioned.  HSE items cannot be purchased by credit card.
