Level 3 Emergency Incident Action Plan

Current to May 2019

This document outlines how NTPC plans to mitigate the risk to a community from an extended power outage due to an unexpected failure from a thermal diesel plant.

This form shall be completed for every emergency.  It documents:

• Details of the emergency (i.e., level, date, time, location, description)
• Reasons for declaration
• Parties notified
• Resources deployed
• Lessons learned
• Debrief

Current to 2018

Plan of action to prevent incidents on minor projects.  Details health & safety systems/requirements for project.  Reviewed with all workers and kept onsite.  Required for all projects requiring contractors that do not qualify as major projects.  General guidelines to use:

• Project work costs are less than $250,000 (excluding material costs);
• Only one contractor will be on site;
• Project duration is expected to be fewer than 15 days;
• Mainly low to medium risk activities; and/or
• As otherwise directed by the Health & Safety Department.
