This policy provides guidance on determining whether a venture or activity should be undertaken by a regulated or non-regulated business entity of Northwest Territories Hydro Corporation (NT Hydro).

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework for the management of health & safety at the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) and to demonstrate NTPC’s commitment to managing and improving workplace health & safety.

In situations where the Corporation lacks the in-house extertise or manpower, the Corporation may use the services of Consultants.
